NATIONAL PARK
Meaning
“Salty dust” in Maa language, Resting at the foot
of Africa’s highest Mountain “Kilimanjaro”,
which lies in a dried up lakebed, There Swamps and Springs fed
by underground rivers from melting snows of Mt Kilimanjaro which
give permanent water to wildlife.
The
diversity of Amboseli ecosystem has created the perfect environment
for large game that’s making it famous of its large herd
of Elephants and there large tasks.
Other
attractions of Amboseli are plentiful game; Leopards, lion, Cheetah,
Jackal and Serval cat. For bird watcher there is so much see;
Bee eater, Bustards, sandgrouses, Fish eagles, Falcon, Martial
eagles and Kingfishers.
Amboseli
is an important rangeland in Maasai culture an indigenous community
protecting fragile eco-system.
