TSAVO
EAST NATIONAL PARK
Tsavo
east is one of Kenya’s largest and oldest National park.
There are interesting aspects in the open area of Tsavo East not
least the spine of Yatta plateau, one of World largest lava flows
and Mudanda rocks.
An
additional attraction is the Athi River that form Lugard falls,
A long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite
view for sunbathing crocodiles ,where the river change its Name
to Galana.
Tsavo
East is also Birder paradise where some 500 species have been
recorded including; Ostrich and some migratory Kestrels while
Buzzards stop at Tsavo East during their long flight south.
East
park also offer abundant mammals; Hunter’s hartebeest Waterbucks,
Rhinos, lion, Leopard, Zebras and Elephants.
