LAKE NATRON AND LAKE EYASI

Breeding flamingoes in the soda lake and rift cliffs are the scenic attractions, the beaten track with many attractions including a rive walk with two waterfalls and a trek up Oldonyio Lengai an active volcano.

Oldonyio Lengai is located in the heart of the Great Rift Valley and has erupted fifteen times in the past century.

The hike to the top of the “Mountain of God” offers an opportunity to view molten lava. One of the most original landscapes of Africa is the area around the soda lake, home to the Maasai, who live here still in traditional way and are hardly influenced by the modern culture.
